Judy Henderson, NOAA

Art is my form of expression. Through painting and drawing, I explore and attempt to provide a unique definition of what inspires me.

Following a realistic style, my favorite subject matter are portraits and figures, but also delight in the painting of landscapes, florals, buildings, pets, wildlife, new and antique vehicles, boats and ships, as well as waterscapes.

Oils are my medium of choice, but I also relish experimenting with other mediums, such as watercolour, acrylics, graphite, mixed media, pastels, and pen and ink.

As an active member of the Algoma Art Society in Sault Ste. Marie for over 40 years, I am currently treasurer and website convenor. I am also a member of the Northern Ontario Art Association (NOAA). To keep up my drawing skills, I participate in a local life drawing group.
