  • 41st Annual NOAA Juried Painting Exhibition – Opened Sept. 28, 1997 in Lively – jurors Richard Edwards and Charlie Rapsky - Doris Foster, Zoey Wood-Salomon and Hilkka Pellikka accepted

Fran Pond passed away in August 1999 at age 66 - Substantial donations were received by the Algoma Art Society in Memory of Fran Pond (at her request) - funds were used for numerous NOAA and Fall Festival of Art Awards in her name and a Society Art Exhibition
